Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick (£33)
is possibly one of the most beautiful beauty products of all time, they are, in fact, beyond merely beautiful and my favourite of them all is Bronze. It is the ultimate multi-purpose product, the gorgeous neutral shimmers that range from a pale champagne to a beautiful warm bronze are the perfect array of colours for everyday glowy gorgeousness. You can use these shades as a bronzer, blush, highlight, individual eye shadows, the shades are basically so stunning they would look fabulous anywhere on your face or body. You can see from the swatches how divine the colours are, however, there is a downside to this unbelievable beauty product, and that is the price. £33! Daylight robbery, although if you have it I would highly recommend purchasing one of the shimmer bricks because even with daily use they last forever, are highly pigmented and Bobbi did such an amazing job with the shades. But fear not, if you don’t want to splash the cash you don’t have to, because Makeup Revolution have come through with a fantastic dupe for the shimmer bricks that is just £3! Which means you save £30. Their
Vivid Shimmer Brick in Rose Gold (£3) is a spot on duplicate of the Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick. They could be twins, that is how serious it is. Another alternative to Bobbi Brown’s original shimmer brick are the
Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Bricks (£5) these are slightly more expensive than Makeup Revolution’s with an extra £2 on their £3 Rose Gold Vivid Shimmer Brick. Seventeen have two shimmer bricks one called Pink Glow which would be ideal for those with fairer skin tones and Bronze Glow that could really work with any skin tone.
