I’ll keep this post short and sweet because there’s a strong chance you’re already sick to death of hearing about it. But yes, Kylie Jenner, queen or self-proclaimed king of lip kits, is releasing three new matte liquid lipsticks inspired by Coachella. This time, these lip products have an intense, still matte but, metallic finish which is oddly pretty and photographs beautifully. You can see lip swatches of the three shades above and watch the video of arm swatches below. Let’s get into the shades:
REIGN a beautiful rich metallic bronze with reddish undertones, it looks so lovely on dark skin tones as you can see from the photo above. I think it would look really bold and eye-catching on paler skins as well, perfect for a festival look as rocking a bold lip is the easiest, stress-free makeup look.
KING K a true gold shade, named after Kylie herself. Anastasia (bottom right above) wears it in the centre of her lips for that instant strobed highlighted effect, immediately this makes the lips look fuller and reflects light like crazy, This shade would be flattering on anyone, especially those with warm or even slightly tan skin.
HEIR the stunning Khloe sports the final shade that is a soft pink shimmer. The closest to a nude you’ll get in this mini collection and the most wearable out of all the shades as demonstrated by Khloe. You can see the intense metallic quality of the pigment and I think it looks really beautiful.
