BEAUTY BAY | BEST OF USA LOS ANGELES AND MIAMI LIMITED EDITION BOXES BREAKDOWN | ALITTLEKIRAN

Available right now for a limited time only are these special edition boxes from Beauty Bay inspired by popular American beauty brands. There is a Miami box and an LA box, both retail for £59 with a worth of £84, meaning a saving of £25. Below is my favourite the LA Beauty Box (£59). In this you get a 4g Kevyn Aucoin Deluxe Mini The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium (£20 for full size), Makeup Geek Contour Powder in Bad Habit, deep milk chocolate face powder (£7.95), Makeup Geek Blush in Romance, peachy pink with slight shimmer (£7.95), Makeup Geek Single Eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear, warm toned matte brown (£4.95), LA Splash Lip Couture Waterproof Matte Liquid Lipstick in Latte Confession, a cerise matte (£9.95), Gerard Slay All Day Setting Spray in Peach (£12.50), Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Peach Nectar, golden highlighter with warm apricot tones (£28), and Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paint in Mars, rosy mocha-toned nude liquid to matte lipstick (£15).

The Miami Box (£59), on the other hand, feels more suitable for lighter skin tones. Inside you get the 4g Kevyn Aucoin Lip Pencil in Medium (£20 for full size)and Coloured Raine Liquid Paint in Mars  (£15) the same as the LA Beauty Box. In addition, you get three Makeup Geek items, this time the Makeup Geek Contour Pan in Break Up, pale mocha for fair skin (£7.95) and Blush in Spell Bound, muted rose matte (£7.95), Makeup Geek Single Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee, caramel-coloured matte (£4.95), LA Splash Forbidden Kiss Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Latte, vanilla-scented toffee nude (£9.95), Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray in Jasmine (£12.50), Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Riviera, cool-toned rose pink highlighter (£28).

Overall, my picks would be the Peach Nectar Illuminator (£28), Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray in Peach (£12.50), Coloured Raine Lip Paint in Mars (£15) and Makeup Geek’s Single Eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear (£4.95). In total, that works out to just over £60 so I guess it is worth it, I definitely prefer the LA Box as I think it would work on most skin tones as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator is the most expensive product and Peach Nectar has a warm apricot undertone that will suit anyone with tan, medium and darker skin.
