JUNE BEAUTY FAVOURITES | ALITTLEKIRAN

As it turns out, I am undeniably a creature of habit and the thought of not uploading a beauty favourites post is abhorrent to me so let’s rectify that. There will not be a lot of new here, as I mentioned in my June Round Up (post here) when I am travelling I stick to what I know and fortunately for the few days I have been back in England I have been rediscovering some old favourites as well.

Benefit Hello Flawless Powder (£25.50) This powder comes in a total of 9 shades and has an SPF 15. I love it for setting my face as it provides good coverage, mattifies the skin and lasts all day long. Another huge plus, it doesn’t feel cakey or heavy on the skin and you can wear it on its own which is ideal for the summer when the heat can be unbearable.

MUR Fortune Favours The Brave Palette (£10) Gorgeous eyeshadow palette with a diverse range of colours and finishes to suit every need. This was the only palette I took with me on holiday and it did not let me down, I particularly love the coppery shimmer shades and all of the baked eyeshadows. Incredible pigmentation, unique colours and long-lasting.

Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara (£25) I only have a little sample of this wonderful mascara but I am obsessed with it, I think I even prefer it in teeny tiny wand form. It grabs every lash, separates, lifts and curls. I love the effect it gives my lashes. It is quite buildable as well, highly recommend it to all you mascara lovers out there.

NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (£18) It is expensive for a drugstore brand but I have been loving this palette for both contouring and highlight. I have been using all of the shades and have found that they work well on my skin, inspite of Ice Queen being so pale. It is a gem, but Makeup Revolution have a similar palette available for just £10 if you aren’t keen on the price.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) This concealer is everything. I love it so much and constantly find myself recommending it to friends, families and followers. It doesn’t seem to work for everyone but it works like a dream on me, so easy to blend, hides imperfections, can be used for highlighting too. A great all-round concealer for a steal.

St Ives Apricot Scrub (£4.19) I have only just rediscovered this scrub and can’t deny how gentle and lovely this is on my skin, Exfoliating is my kryptonite, I have to do it at least once a day even though I am aware this can cause irritation and inflammation, hence I try to combat this by using scrubs that are gentle on my skin and appropriate for daily use. It smells very subtle and leaves my skin feeling nice and soft afterwards.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this short and sweet post. Please share with me your beauty favourites of the past month in the comments below and of course don’t forget to follow me via Bloglovin’ and check out my social media accounts. Have a lovely weekend. Take care.
