October Favourites MAC Soft and Gentle MSF Milani 2 in 1 Foundation Tata Harper Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation
My blogging mojo has been distinctly lacking lately, but don’t worry I am not going anywhere. I’m just trying to figure out what I want to do to be honest, but putting that to the side for a second, here are my October Favourites! I hope you all had a great Halloween and Diwali. I’m Sikh so I celebrate Bandi Chhor Divas which falls on the same day as Diwali. October has been an interesting month for me, but it is now officially totally okay to be excited for Christmas and play all the Santa songs we want. I am ready to dive headfirst into my Glee Christmas album, no apologies given.
I mentioned the Nip + Fab Yoga Blend Body Scrub (£10) in my Rapid Reviews post. So you already know how in love I am with this product. It’s the scent, it is pure magic. I wish this lavender, rose and coconut concoction could follow me everywhere I go, I hope they create a bath soak with this fragrance. It is so beautiful, everyone must try it, and that’s enough about that.

Marc Jacobs Full Cover Foundation Concentrate Honey Light and Milani 2 in 1 Conceal and Perfect Foundation
Moving onto my favourites these two foundations are on the opposite ends of the price spectrum but apart from that very comparable. Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate (£37) is so pigmented it’s almost unbelievable. I am not a fan of the dispenser, I much prefer an ordinary pump. This is a little messy but because it is so concentrated it helps to be able to control how much to use. You need a minuscule amount for everyday wear and it can easily be full coverage with about half a pump’s worth. The best way to apply it is with a dense kabuki brush. The finish is matte and the shade Honey Light is a perfect match for me. On the other hand, the much more affordable Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation (£10) is medium to full coverage, not nearly as pigmented but matte and longwearing. I am in the shade Sand, the colour range for this foundation is very yellow so ideal for those with warmer skin. If you would like a post on all the foundations I have ever tried, let me know. It can be tough to find a good foundation when you have Indian colouring.

MAC Soft and Gentle MSF Rosie for Autograph Eyeliner Intense Black and Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum
I have been using the Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum (£80) for the last week and have been really enjoying it. Their skincare is stupidly expensive but oh so good. I love their Regenerating Cleanser (£32) as well, it’s gorgeous and refreshing and feels luxurious on my skin. The Rosie HW for Autograph Liquid Eyeliner (£14) is becoming a favourite too, it’s intensely black, dries fast and yet is still easy to correct and can survive a sweaty dance session. I used it for Halloween celebrations and it lasted all night, brilliantly. Adore the packaging in this whole range, full of rose gold loveliness and I am genuinely shocked at how long this has lasted. I have been using it for months and it still has a decent amount of product left. The MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralise Skin Finish (£24) has kind of converted me into a highlighter girl, it is aptly named: soft and gentle and also beautiful. It is not glittery or offensive in the slightest and just gives the prettiest glow to your skin. A great product for anyone who is weary of a bright highlight.

Collection Cosmetics Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liners Urban Decay Dupe
Last but not least, these Collection Cosmetics Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liners (£2.50) are such an awesome find. I was looking for a dupe of the Urban Decay glitter eyeliners and found these in Superdrug. I had to hunt down the shades that I wanted and managed to find them in WH Smith. Collection Cosmetics are such a fabulous brand, I have so many amazing products from their line and these are no exception. I used them as a glitter base to give my Barry M Dazzle Dust something to stick too. It worked really well but they also make great eyeliners, the brush is so teeny tiny.
Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed this post and please share your favourites in the comments below. I love hearing about the products you have been using. Hope you are all having a great week. See you with my next post, if you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments below. I would appreciate your opinions. I have been thinking about incorporating a Blogger Chat post where I discuss all the non-glamorous blogger stuff no one really talks about. It might be a bit boring but I would love to hear your thoughts. Lots of love. Take care.
What have you been loving in October?
Love ❤
Kiran
